​Tiny Turkey Trot!

Bring your kids 12 and under to run their own race!
Turkeys 6 & under will race one lap around our circle driveway.
Turkeys 7 to 12 will run two laps!
Register for FREE the morning of the race.
​All finishers will receive a medal!

*NEW* this year: 

​TEAM COMPETITION: Enter the event with a team! (runners still compete as individuals) Round up your friends, family and colleagues to make the biggest & fastest team you can! Challenge a rival or two, because bragging rights are on the line! Help your team score points in the following ways:

• 3 points for each paid registrant
• 1 point for each team member that completes the event (youth/adult, run/walk)
• 3 points for each team member that finishes the 5K in under 25 minutes
• 5 points for each team member that finishes the 5K in under 20 minutes

SHORTER WALKING ROUTE: Not sure if you want to walk the full 5K? This year we are offering a shorter, 1.5-mile route as an option for walkers. Participants opting for this route will not receive an official time/place but will still count towards the Team competition.

Who:         Runners/Walkers of all ages 
Where:      Newton YMCA (1701 S 8th Ave E)
Race Fee:  Race $15 for members, $20 for non-members
                  (Kids under 14 race for free with paying adult)
                  (Additional $5 for registering morning of event)
Check-in:  Friday November 22nd 5:30pm-7:30pm
                  OR before the race on November 23rd 

• Prizes to top overall female and male finishers.
• Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at 10 am.
• Ages 14 and younger MUST run with a parent/guardian.
• Child Watch will be available for children 6 months to 9 years during the race.

8:00am: Registration (5K & Tiny Trot)
8:50am: Welcome Greeting
8:55am: Tiny Turkey Trot start
9:00am: 5K/1.5 mile Turkey Trot start
10:00am: Awards Ceremony (or earlier)
