The Newton YMCA & Newton Community School District have partnered to provide Before and After School care for area families at three locations in Newton; Emerson Hough and Thomas Jefferson Elementarys, and of course the Newton YMCA. The program is offered from 6:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday.
The program strives to provide quality childcare for all children creating a safe centered environment where they can grow intellectually, socially and emotionally. Exploring new interests, discovering new talents and lifelong skills. Our certified site staff provide curriculum that meets the state learning standards and a variety of activities that students can choose. The structure and type of activity will incorporate elements of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math). Transportation is provided from a before & after school site to your child's school.
We accept Child Care Assistance through the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services.
