Full Day Care

The Early Learning Center offers care Monday through Friday, 6am-6pm for children 6 months to 5 years old. Children are split up by age group in separate rooms and move up when they are the appropriate age and when they are developmentally ready for the move. Our lead staff are CPR, AED and first aid trained. All staff are required to complete appropriate training before entering a classroom. Our ELC is managed by our Childcare Director and Assistant Director.

Infants
The infant room is staffed at a 1:4 Staff:Child Ratio. Daily sheets are provided to parents daily, which includes information on food, naps, large motor and diaper schedules.
Staff provide an environment where children can have hands on exploration through communication, fine motor, gross motor, problem solving and personal-social. 
Daily schedule includes diapering time, hand washing, feeding times and indoor/outdoor play. 
Toddlers
The toddlers room is staffed at a 1:4 Staff:Child Ratio. Daily sheets are provided to parents daily, which includes information on food, naps, large motor and diaper schedules.
Staff provide an environment where children can have hands on exploration through communication, fine motor, gross motor, problem solving and personal-social. 
Children are given a routine schedule throughout the day which includes learning, play time and meal time. Children wash hands, sit at the table and start social skills that are needed for communication and proper table manners.
Two's
​The 24-36 month old room is staffed at a 1:6 Staff:Child Ratio. Daily sheets are provided to parents daily, which includes information on food, naps, large motor and diaper schedules.
Learning time is exploring through play in a well-rounded nurturing environment. Educational activities include stimulating critical thinking skills, developing creativity, language skills, problem solving skills and communication effectiveness.​
Pre-K (3-5 Year Old's)
​The three year old room is staffed at a 1:10 Staff:Child Ratio. The four & five year old room is staffed at a 1:12 Staff:Child Ratio.
The ELC Pre-K program encompasses children aged 3-5. three rooms separate the children by age and development. 
​Learning centers include; blocks, dramatic play, library, writing, sensory, open ended art, listening, science, music and manipulatives. In this environment, they can build their confidence and begin to believe that they are capable learners. In centers small groups of children work together, enabling children to interact more frequently than in large groups. Children work cooperatively while getting immediate response to their ideas, communication and work.

​Meals 
Snacks and meals are provided under the federal food program (CACFP)

Physical Activity
​
Physical activity is important to your child’s health.  We provide daily physical activity and movement through indoor gym or outdoor games.
