Hannah Bartlett
Aquatics and Fitness Director

​Hi! I’m Hannah Bartlett! I am from Aurora, IL and moved to Newton in 2009 when I married my husband, Andrew. We run a busy, loud, and messy house full of boys! Maddox is 5, Paxton is 2, and Zaiden is 7 months old.
They keep me on my toes but they are truly gifts! They are my motivation for everything I do, including fitness!
 
My passion for instructing group fitness started about 6 months after my oldest son was born and I was desperate to lose the baby weight. I put my dance background of 16 years to work and got certified in a cardio kickboxing class. I fell in love with creating an energetic, motivating environment for other men and women to come and take an hour to themselves, whether the goal is to lose weight, gain health, or just to have a place to burn some stress! That was the start of an amazing journey that has brought me to the Newton YMCA as the group fitness coordinator!
 
Whatever your situation, wherever you are on your journey, we have a place for you in our group fitness classes. Take the risk and try something new! I’m excited to meet you! 

Attendance in these classes is FREE as part of your membership and unless otherwise noted, advanced sign up is not required.
Schedule subject to change at any time.

Boot camp is back!
Session 1 of 2019 will be 5 weeks long from 1/28-3/1, Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays from 5:15 am - 6 am. This will be $30 for a Y Member and $60 for a Community Member
