Sports - Youth

At the Y we want to provide a safe, welcoming environment to see all youth achieve their potential.
Our staff and volunteers are nurturing, positive,
warm, and encouraging.  They believe in being inclusive and supportive of all youth!

We believe that when a child achieves something, they feel they belong and develop relationships and friendships they can reach their full potential.  We believe these are the cornerstones to Youth Development.

ACHIEVEMENT:
We encourage and support youth’s development journeys and acknowledge their efforts with specific appreciations.

BELONGING:
We ask questions and listen to verbal and nonverbal responses while promoting respect, acceptance, and appreciation.

RELATIONSHIPS:
We build relationships with and among youth.while partnering together with youth and their families to see them grow and thrive.
