Swim Team Rookie WeekFor those swimmers who are new to swim team or are considering joining the team, Rookie Week is your chance to check it out! You will have the chance to meet the coaches, experience a week of practice and decide if swim team is for you! Swimmers will be evaluated to determine team placings. Rookie Week is NOT for existing team members.
When: 6:15-7 p.m. for children 10 years old and younger; 7-8 p.m. children 11 years old and older Oct. 18-22
Fee: $10 Y-members
$20 Non-members
YMCA Swim Team
YMCA Swim Team is a great opportunity for youth to compete against other swimmers from around the state.
Information Meeting: 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27
Who: YMCA members age 5-18 who can swim one length of the pool.
Due to YMCA of the USA rules, all YMCA Swim Team members must be YMCA members.
When: 6:15-7 p.m. for children 10 years old and younger; 7-8 p.m. children 11 years old and older
Dates: Oct. 25 – March
Registration Deadline: Oct. 27 – A $20 late fee per child will be charged after this date
Watch for emails and advertisement for specific in person registration dates. Swim team parents and coaches will be on hand to answer questions. This event will be sometime in early September.
Fees: $80 for one child*; $130 for two children*; $175 for three children*; $210 for four children (A $5 per family consession fee will be collected to offset the cost of concessions)
