The Newton YMCA is excited to offer Kids Party Packages to allow you to celebrate the occasion in unique and FUN ways!

All Party packages:
- Include two YMCA hosts who will guide your party through the activities for the event.  Leave the organization/cleanup to us!
- All attendees will go home with something... but the Birthday Youth will also get a YMCA Birthday Party souvenir bag that includes a voucher for ONE FREE Y program!
- Are 2 hours in length and cost $300 (discount for Y Members)
- Include up to 12 kids (additional kids $15 each)
- Must be reserved in advance.  In order to reserve your desired timeslot, there is a non-refundable deposit of $100.

CAKE DECORATING

Celebrate with a sweet and stress-free YMCA Mini Cake Decorating Party! The YMCA team will bake and provide mini cakes for each child, so families can simply arrive ready to have fun. During the party, youth will participate in a guided and decorating lesson, led by YMCA staff. Each child will learn basic decorating techniques and have the chance to personalize their own mini cake. At the end of the celebration, kids get to take their mini cakes home to enjoy and show off. This party is perfect for creative kids who love hands-on activities and a fun, structured experience.

LEGO

Get ready to build, create, and race at a YMCA Lego Build & Race Party! This hands-on celebration gives kids the chance to use their imagination while enjoying open play with LEGO bricks provided by the YMCA. During the party, guests will enjoy a mix of LEGO coloring pages, free build time, and the opportunity to design and construct LEGO cars, which they can then test and race on a specially designed track. Friendly LEGO car races add excitement while encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork in a fun, social setting. This party is perfect for builders and racers alike and offers a screen-free celebration filled with creativity and hands-on fun.

ROYAL HEDGEHOGS

Get ready for a hedge-tastic royal adventure! Each youth will adopt their very own plush hedgehog keychain to clip onto their backpack. Budding artists will paint a wooden castle habitat for their new spiky friend and decorate their own crown fit for a king or queen. With bright paints, sparkly decorations, and lots of imagination, everyone will leave with adorable keepsakes and magical memories!​

DINOSAUR ADVENTURE

Calling all little paleontologists! Get ready to dig, discover, paint, and glow at the ultimate dinosaur party! Each explorer will: Excavate their very own glow-in-the-dark dinosaur. Paint their dino masterpiece to take home. Wear a Dino party hat while stomping through prehistoric fun. The excitement doesn’t stop there! Kids can play dino-tastic games like: Musical Stomp, stomp like a T-Rex and dance to the dino beat! Pin the Tail on the Dinosaur, see who can stick the tail in the right spot without waking the dinos! It’s a roaring, glowing, stomp-and-paint adventure your little dinos won’t want to miss!​

POOL PARTY

Make a splash with a YMCA Pool Party! Celebrate your child’s special day with time to enjoy snacks and cake in our conference room before transitioning together to the pool for an open swim party. Guests will begin the celebration in the conference room for food, cake, and presents. Afterward, the group will move to the pool for open swim fun under YMCA supervision. For an extra touch of excitement, families may choose to have a mermaid or pirate to join the group during the pool portion of the party, at no additional charge. Children who wish to use the deep end will be required to pass a YMCA deep-water swim test prior to entering that area. Lifeguards will be on duty at all times to ensure a safe and fun experience for everyone. This party option is perfect for kids who love to swim, play, and enjoy a themed aquatic celebration with friends.

PUPPY PALS

Bring the magic of creating a new best friend to your event. 
The YMCA Wonder Paws Workshop, can pop up on site at the Y or travel to you. We bring everything needed for a seamless, joy filled experience led by our trained and caring staff.
Each child gets to hand stuff their very own furry friend, making it truly one of a kind. After the stuffing is complete, they'll receive an adoption certificate and decorate a T-shirt for their new companion to take home.
The package includes 15 furry plush kits. Each additional kit is $15. 
Proceeds from Wonder Paws help give back to our community by offsetting costs for scholarships and supporting families who participate in YMCA programs.

LASER TAG

Celebrate with an action-packed laser tag party! We’ll have the conference room reserved for food, drinks, and birthday cake. When it’s game time, kids will head to the racquetball room for exciting laser tag matches, including Capture the Flag. Each guest will receive a glow-in-the-dark bracelet to divide into teams and light up the fun. Get ready for games, laughs, and an unforgettable birthday celebration!

DONUT BASH

Sprinkles, smiles, and so much fun! Our Donut Party is a high-energy celebration packed with color, creativity, and games. The party kicks off with a hands-on art activity where guests paint their very own donut door hanger sign, choosing bright colors, fun patterns, and tons of sprinkles to make it uniquely theirs. When the paint brushes are down, the fun keeps rolling with Donut Bingo, led by our staff, where kids can laugh, play, and win while spotting their favorite donut designs. With sweet vibes, creative fun, and playful games, this party is a donut miss celebration!

D.I.Y. TWEEN

Come hang out and get creative! We’ll provide the claw clips, beads, and charms for you to decorate, plus you can make cute lip gloss keychain charms. All supplies are included, just bring your ideas (and your own lip gloss if you want it attached). Music, crafts, and good vibes all around. Leave with custom accessories you’ll actually want to show off.
