Daily Sheets:
Daily sheets are provided to inform you of your child’s day. The daily sheets include information on food schedule, nap schedule, large motor and diapering schedule.
Conferences
Conferences are held annually. Parents and teachers meet to discuss child's screening using Ages & Stages (see below).
Ages & Stages:
Our program uses Ages and Stages individual screenings and also child portfolios to assess the child’s developmental progress. The teaching staff and families discuss the results of the assessments and plan for continued growth throughout the year.
Physical Activity
Physical activity is important to your child’s health. We provide daily physical activity and movement through indoor gym or outdoor games.
Sleep Policy:
The YMCA follows the safe sleep policy to ensure children’s safety during nap times.

Feeding is on demand. Formula, cereal and foods are all provided under the federal food program (CACFP). The daily schedule includes diapering time, hand washing, feeding times and indoor/outdoor play. Nurturing children is the focus of the nursery with consistent positive attention.

Staff assists children in a smooth transition to their parents at the end of the day.
